Dear Friends of Solutions Center,
What an exciting time to be part of Solutions Center, just knowing you are able to be a part of something larger than yourself is uplifting. With the help of you, the Fond du Lac community, Solutions Center will be able to help so many people.  We kicked off January “BIG” by purchasing the women’s shelter, thanks to donations and a grant from the city. We are thrilled to have worked with the Diocese of Fond du Lac and Bishop Jacobus to help make this possible.

In 2009 Solutions Center provided:
·         30,000 nights of care
·         12,000 meals served
·         3399 crisis calls for domestic violence
·         1000 plus people were helped with outside shelter services such as: rent/utility assistance, therapy for children and adults, and case work for legal advocacy, child/teen advocacy, and help in general.

Now, I know 2010 presents many challenges but I believe we can pull together our resources and help our fellow neighbor. With the economy/recession we know some are able to help others and some are not.  It will challenge us to find better ways to stretch the dollar. You have my promise that every penny stays local and will be utilized to its fullest extent.

I have an open door policy so if there’s ever a concern you need to discuss, would like to meet, have a tour or whatever it may be please don’t ever hesitate to call or stop in. I would love to meet each and every one of you.

Finally, thank you for all your support, thoughts and prayers. All of these help our mission and provide services to those in need. We appreciate each and every one of you and we look forward to the future with hope (Helping Other People Excel). Thank you.

Warmest regards,
Lindee Kimball
