Dear Friends of Solutions Center,

What an exciting time to be part of Solutions Center, just knowing you are able to be a part of something larger than yourself is uplifting. With the help of you, the Fond du Lac community, Solutions Center will be able to help so many people. Our goal for 2009 is to nurture and inspire the human spirit.

Many people may not know my background before I started working at Solutions Center, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to do so. I have worked in the non-profit world almost all my life. Years ago I worked for the county at Shelter Care and Galow Group Home, then for Agnesian at Rainbow House with AODA teens, and then Big Brothers Big Sisters for over 7 years-up until I resigned my role as a Social Worker took another career path.

I had an opportunity to change my career path to Development and Marketing, so I went to The Salvation Army for over 7 years and up until recently I worked at The Arc for 3 years. I also served on the Fond du Lac City Council for 6 years to have a voice for so many of those less fortunate. My passion for people comes from my heart and living out my mission of Servant Leadership. I believe people are put here on earth to serve others.

Now I know 2009 will be presenting challenges but I believe we can pull together our resources and help our fellow neighbor. With the economy/recession we know some are able to help others and some are not.  It will challenge us to find better ways to stretch the dollar. You have my promise that every penny stays local and will be utilized to its fullest extent.

I have an open door policy so if there’s ever a concern you need to discuss, would like to meet, have a tour or whatever it may be please don’t ever hesitate to call or stop in. I would love to meet each and every one of you.

Finally, thank you for all your support, thoughts and prayers. All of these help our mission and provide services to those in need. We appreciate each and every one of you and we look forward to the future with hope (Helping Other People Excel). Thank you.

Warmest regards,
Lindee Kimball
