Need Shelter?

Solutions Center offers shelter options for men, women, children and families still intact. Clients’ basic needs, including food and personal care, are met daily.

Homeless Shelter for Families - Operated by Solutions Center
Our shelter for families is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The shelter has 16 beds, and is available for intact families, including men, women, and children.

Homeless Shelter for Singles - Operated by St. Vincent de Paul
Our shelter for singles is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The shelter has 36 beds, and is available for homeless single men and women.

UPDATE: 09/11/23

The collaboration of Solutions Center Homeless Family Program and St. Vincent de Paul Fond du Lac County have built the St. Katharine Drexel Homeless Shelter. The shelter is the collaboration of the two agencies, and the St. Katharine Drexel Homeless Shelter was built. Solutions Center Homeless program operates the family side of the shelter, and St. Vincent de Paul owns the building and operates the single side of the shelter. Homelessness does not happen overnight. Solutions Center and St. Vincent de Paul is committed to assisting clients to avoid some of the circumstances that lead to homelessness.

 

Homeless Prevention Planning
Solutions Center & St. Vincent de Paul advocates & Case Managers work with and mentor clients to develop a plan with goals, budgets and referrals that allow families and individuals create a path to self-sufficiency. Clients can meet with advocates on a regular basis to receive education and assistance with any paperwork, housing searches, and employment searches.

 

Housing Assistance Search
Solutions Center is able to provide assistance with finding suitable housing in the Fond du Lac community. For referrals or to pick up a local landlord guide, call (920) 923-1743.

 

Eviction and Disconnection Assistance
Solutions Center provides some financial relief for families who have received eviction or disconnection notices.
