Solutions Center offers shelter options for men, women, children and families still intact. Clients’ basic needs, including food and personal care, are met daily.

 

Domestic Abuse Shelter
Our domestic abuse shelter is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The shelter has a 24 bed capacity, and is available to women and their children facing domestic abuse. Men and their children can also be victims of abuse, and should call to talk about safe sheltering options with an advocate.

 

Homeless Shelter for Families
Our shelter for families is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The shelter has 15 beds, and is available for intact families, including men, women and children.

Solutions Center and St. Vincent de Paul of Fond du Lac County are partnering to better serve all homeless populations. For this reason, and to reduce duplication of services, Solutions Center will now serve homeless families while adult single men and women will be sheltered at The Salvation Army Warming Shelter. Homelessness does not happen overnight. Solutions Center is committed to assisting clients to avoid some of the circumstances that lead to homelessness.

 

Homeless Prevention Planning
Solutions Center advocates work with and mentor clients to develop a budget plan. Clients can meet with advocates on a regular basis to receive education.

 

Housing Assistance Search
Solutions Center is able to provide assistance with finding suitable housing in the Fond du Lac community. For referrals or to pick up a local landlord guide, call (920) 923-1743.

 

Eviction and Disconnection Assistance
Solutions Center provides some financial relief for families who have received eviction or disconnection notices.
